Where can I find a square-shaped flat-screen TV?
I have the television armoire that is now about 8 years old, that can accommodate 27 "of the old school, CRT (tube) TV. I want to call it my fat back to the TV! In any case, armoire is really nice and I still like it, but now its time change the old TV I have found that most of the new availability of a rectangular, not square. So if there is such thing as a square-shaped flat-screen TV, I really buy a smaller TV-viewing screen than I have at the moment - I do not want to do. Is the square-shaped LCD / plasma on the market? Who priced similar to the rectangular ones? What is available to all the other (I'm guessing millions) of people that own the entertainment centers and armoires, designed tube TVs? Please help! Thanks a bunch!
As the TV is measured diagonally, probably would not have to lose by changing the actual size of the have a widescreen TV. Wide-screen ratio is 16:9, the old CRT is 4:3. I think if you buy a TV with a little of everything (such as paneling, control, speakers), and the sides of the screen, and as wide as it is, you can acommodate armoire, it is acceptable to the height and good sized wide-screen image. Only view the photos of the old 4:3 ratio would be affected.
